Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cléber Catarinense made the kick off and thus started the match. Mariano Enol kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Dominix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Sport Club Abrilense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sport Club Abrilense's Leopoldo Dominix did a great save. Leopoldo Dominix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of the match. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Dominix. Sport Club Abrilense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Sport Club Abrilense getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tobias Felo hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Sport Club Abrilense's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Leopoldo Dominix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Abrilense's Leandro Luix got a free kick in the 50th minute. Leandro Luix kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Leopoldo Dominix was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Felo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Felo in the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Luis Andino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopoldo Dominix. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Leopoldo Dominix in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sport Club Abrilense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sport Club Abrilense's Leopoldo Dominix did a great save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Felo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leopoldo Dominix was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Catarinense in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Dominix made a huge save. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Leopoldo Dominix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
