Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Benoît Deschodt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of paganese62's Benoît Deschodt. Benoît Deschodt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clément Lavit kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benoît Deschodt could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Benoît Deschodt in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute Gaston Schillinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Gaston Schillinger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Schillinger in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to paganese62 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Clément Lavit hit a great ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 minutes, Bryan Fouque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the paganese62 and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bryan Fouque hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th match minute, paganese62 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Schillinger to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than paganese62 throughout the match.
