Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martin Odén took the kick off in the first half of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Ekegren in the 3rd minute of play. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juoksengi's Roland Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 11th minute of play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Martin Odén came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Juoksengi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Odén couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Juoksengi's Martin Odén slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Nils Wallander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Nils Wallander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Lindström having to interfere. Matthias Ekegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Juoksengi's Matthias Ekegren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Efrain Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juoksengi the free kick. After 60 minutes of play, Juoksengi's Billy Torsberg made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Emil Ekegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Billy Torsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Odén in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Torsberg in the 77th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Odén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthias Ekegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juoksengi fully deserved thier win.
