Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Alvarenga in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nery Pumpido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 minutes GuateFortín's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nery Pumpido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. GuateFortín's Roberto Trotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orlando Tafalla, made in the 23rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Luis Cazalla got a free kick in the 25th minute. Sven-Edvin Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Huezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Sven-Edvin Jansson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henry in the 52nd minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Angel Alvarenga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Thierry Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Thierry Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henry came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Thierry Henry notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GuateFortín's William Villanueva was substituted for Zico Zellier. GuateFortín made a substitution. Ivan Lozano replaced Roberto Trotta. 67 minutes into the match, Thierry Henry notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thierry Henry in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Thierry Henry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. When Thierry Henry came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the GuateFortín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thierry Henry couldn't finish the play. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by GuateFortín's Thierry Henry. But to his dismay, Thierry Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thierry Henry in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. The GuateFortín fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when GuateFortín's Thierry Henry looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 89th minute of play. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Villanueva in the 91st minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GuateFortín fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
