Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven-Edvin Jansson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Máximo Perrone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Jansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 1-0. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 13th minute of the match. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Thierry Henry got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute GuateFortín were awarded a corner. Angel Alvarenga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Angel Alvarenga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nery Pumpido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nery Pumpido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 38th minute of play. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Heriberto Correa in the 44 minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Kevin Mastache had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. GuateFortín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Mastache was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 80thth minute of the game Thierry Henry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orlando Tafalla hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. In the 89th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. When Angel Alvarenga came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the GuateFortín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Alvarenga couldn't finish the play. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henry came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Villanueva took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
