Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Luca Espinar had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. In the 5th match minute, INTER FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Alves to maneuver through the defense. Honduras made a substitution. Xavier Costa replaced Edmundo Espiga. Rafael Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Marco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Marco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Seco. Marco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Seco in the 22nd minute. When Ivan Navarro fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Ivan Navarro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. During the 29th minute of the match Bruno Alves completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bruno Alves a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bruno Alves hit a great ball. The supporters of Honduras booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Kosmatka having to interfere. If Xavier Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Seco to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 55th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Marcelo Valverde got a free kick in the 56th minute. Marco Seco struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. The audience was convinced that Xavier Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Kosmatka was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 minutes of play Honduras's Ivan Navarro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 70 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Linhares in the 72nd minute of the match. If Hortêncio Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka got control of the ball when Xavier Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Valverde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori de Lara in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Albertinho Meireles threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Alexander Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leon Kosmatka was a little too slow when Xavier Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-2. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
