The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adulfo Alcantara in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Triana Rep. Ind. getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Justo March hit a great ball. Bahiano Camarasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Triana Rep. Ind.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Rigoberto Mina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Amaro Casas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adulfo Alcantara in the 17th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Adulfo Alcantara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Amaro Casas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, Triana Rep. Ind.'s Amaro Casas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Adulfo Alcantara got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Adulfo Alcantara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. After 40 played minutes Triana Rep. Ind. got a freekick which was hit by Justo March. Adulfo Alcantara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Triana Rep. Ind.'s Ola Lagerberg was substituted for Adulfo Alcantara. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ola Lagerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Olmos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Ola Lagerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Triana Rep. Ind. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Lagerberg in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Elvio Olmos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahiano Camarasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute. A collision led to Triana Rep. Ind. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Elvio Olmos hit a great ball. Triana Rep. Ind. made a substitution. Cirino Verdeja replaced Delmiro Fonticoba. After a rather tough play, Triana Rep. Ind.'s Elvio Olmos got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Ola Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ola Lagerberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Triana Rep. Ind. fully deserved thier win.
