Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Federico Bianco kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute, Cassius Byrne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabin Pânzaru was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. FC Aquile Azzurre's Carlo Borgatello got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cassius Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabin Pânzaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Pânzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Pânzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Sabin Pânzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Aquile Azzurre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfons Bagge in the 38th minute. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Bianco in the 41st minute of play. FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 44th minute of play. Monty Rogers scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabin Pânzaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Borgatello in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Yuan Xiong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Aquile Azzurre's João Francisco Correia was substituted for Hardy Zingg. Sabin Pânzaru made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Monty Rogers sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Borgatello in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Sabin Pânzaru in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinç Dede in the 80th minute of play. Dinç Dede took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bel Cross in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bel Cross in the 86th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Aquile Azzurre from getting a goal against them. Dinç Dede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Sabin Pânzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With a little luck, FC Aquile Azzurre's Sabin Pânzaru got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Aquile Azzurre throughout the match.
