The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Maximino Ticho was a little too slow when Zach Harrison got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 3-1. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. In the 83rd match minute, A.C. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Faccio to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Aldo Di Carlo notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Khalid Parry took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Maximino Ticho to make any attempt to save it. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horea Boian's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. With a little luck, A.C. Patagonia's Maximino Ticho got control of the ball when Marco Baker tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 99th minute USA were awarded a corner. Jenson Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. USA's Jacob May was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Ticho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 100 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.C. Patagonia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jenson Smith was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. A.C. Patagonia were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
