The goalkeeper, Pedro Manzanares, was totally fooled by New England Minas's Edgardo Silva, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lalo Rosas hit a great ball. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes in the game Antonio Indiano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kevin Mastache. The Colombia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented New England Minas from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
