The referee ignored DIF LEEDS BK's protests and gave Jonas Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Lundström kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Brazilio Butt made a huge save. After 54 minutes DIF LEEDS BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Brazilio Butt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 57 minutes into the game, Pál Kormos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 61 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Brazilio Butt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Gudmundsson to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Brazilio Butt however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pál Kormos hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Jonasson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renzo Ingelborgs to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the DIF LEEDS BK defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brazilio Butt. The DIF LEEDS BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brazilio Butt should have stopped the shot. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brazilio Butt having to interfere. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Brazilio Butt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.
