Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Harsh Gods's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Harsh Gods's Tomas Lain slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. If Roberto Carlos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 14th minute of play forced Harsh Gods's goalkeeper Gersi Snabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gersi Snabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Tomas Lain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harsh Gods and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tomas Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Luis Andino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harsh Gods's Gersi Snabe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Lain struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harsh Gods. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gersi Snabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. Tomas Lain struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harsh Gods. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 55th match minute, Harsh Gods was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jogaila Makauskas to maneuver through the defense. Harsh Gods's Gersi Snabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 56th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gersi Snabe having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Lain in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Harsh Gods's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gersi Snabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Tomas Lain notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Lain might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Lain ran back to his position shaking his head. Harsh Gods's Gersi Snabe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Harsh Gods from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Tomas Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 85th minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gersi Snabe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 93rd minute. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Harsh Gods were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
