Thiago Pliego was a little too slow when Jakub Lukowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cyprian Paciuszko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Thunderstorm Riders got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Tworek. Cyprian Paciuszko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Jajecznica in the 32nd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Paciuszko having to interfere. The supporters of Thunderstorm Riders booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Lacasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Leonard Tworek hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goalkeeper Cyprian Paciuszko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Leonard Tworek kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Thunderstorm Riders's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Cyprian Paciuszko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigiusz Kasprzak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigiusz Kasprzak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chile eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
