After 21 minutes, Jorden Blomme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ninjas FK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 22nd minute of play forced Ninjas FK's goalkeeper Rickard Algren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Cristian Sancho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 37th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Algren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to Ninjas FK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Min Peng hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Rickard Algren made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ninjas FK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
