The supporters of Peru booed when Mörknäs Electric Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Arne Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Lidberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Domingues in the 15th minute of play. Cesar Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gunnar Lidberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Domingues in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gunnar Lidberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Falck during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Peter Falck got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Lidberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gunnar Lidberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Domingues made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. Gunnar Lidberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of play forced Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes Mörknäs Electric Vikings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Milagros Fraga heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 62nd minute of play forced Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Lidberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Niclas Svanström was substituted for Per-Arne Åström. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunnar Lidberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Lidberg. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luz Tejedor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Gunnar Lidberg made a huge save. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fredrik Ryberg in the 90 minute of the game. In the 91st minute of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gunnar Lidberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Gunnar Lidberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jack Ekenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Ekenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mörknäs Electric Vikings.
