Elliott Drake could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 8th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 12th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Påk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of play forced Stream Sponsoren's goalkeeper Birger Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birger Påk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktan Sara in the 18th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Birger Påk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aktan Sara got free with Dante Lacasa in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lex Immers in the 32nd minute of play. If Elliott Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aktan Sara to strike the kick off in the second half. Birger Påk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. 57 minutes into the match, Stream Sponsoren's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Birger Påk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Aktan Sara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stream Sponsoren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aktan Sara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 69 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birger Påk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 75 played minutes Stream Sponsoren got a freekick which was hit by Elliott Drake. In the 79th minute Aktan Sara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Stream Sponsoren's Aktan Sara made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elliott Drake kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
