When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Jairo Unai to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded Bolivia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Pontiac Bandit.
