Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 27 minutes in the game Ferdinand Agachi did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Venancio Olayo. Rosario Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Chano got free with Rolando Noboa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Chano in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 45th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With an all-out effort, Peru's Rosario Escarza threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 57 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Rosario Escarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Rosario Escarza in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rosario Escarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 61st minute of the match. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao in the 62nd minute of play. After 70 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Luz Tejedor. In the 76th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Escarza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qian Hong Ting kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
