Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling He Zheng Xing in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute Glyka Nera FC were awarded a corner. Kostas Kalamaridis went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Stig-Inge Nymoen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Zheng Xing in the 75th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
