Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicolas Espiridion got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Espiridion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 8th minute of the match Montalcino SE got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonardo de Godoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 14th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdomiro Ferraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Montalcino SE's Almir Valadares in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Guillermo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Ferraz having to interfere. With his leg Valdomiro Ferraz managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdomiro Ferraz having to interfere. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Montalcino SE's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Valdomiro Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valdomiro Ferraz. Alan Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Espiridion in the 78th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valdomiro Ferraz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chile's Mariano Lacasa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valdomiro Ferraz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Valdomiro Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
