Colombia's Axel Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kamal Pahlevi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Colombia's Luis Cazalla in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tirant lo Blanch's goalie prevented a goal. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colombia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Leonard Treppa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Kamal Pahlevi made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 76th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tirant lo Blanch's goalie and right to Pascual Carballar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tirant lo Blanch's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 76th minute Pascual Carballar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamal Pahlevi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Carmen Paniagua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kamal Pahlevi made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Kamal Pahlevi came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. But to his dismay, Kevin Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 87 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Abram Secada made a precise shot to the right of Kamal Pahlevi. Tirant lo Blanch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Kamal Pahlevi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tirant lo Blanch fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
