Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Tym Tym getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Vintilă Vâlcu hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Narcis Domide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narcis Domide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Tym Tym was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Geolgău didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Alfredo Ferrant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tym Tym's Adrian Boștină got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leonard Vlăsiu, passed just outside the right post. Eduardo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Leonard Vlăsiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. After having played for 47 minutes, Eduardo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Fontirroig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Narcis Domide made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tym Tym's zone, Julio Chicote stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Vlăsiu came out of the goal and Julio Chicote tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Narcis Domide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredo Ferrant took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonard Vlăsiu. Leonard Vlăsiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Bolivia's Julio Chicote got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Mario Fernandino notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Tym Tym's Leonard Vlăsiu. Leonard Vlăsiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute Alfonso de la Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Vlăsiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narcis Domide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. Mario Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Julio Chicote hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Bolivia failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
