An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play forced KartallarYüksekucar's goalkeeper Dilmen Arslanşah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dilmen Arslanşah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dilmen Arslanşah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Ecuador played a much better game than KartallarYüksekucar and deserved their victory. The KartallarYüksekucar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
