An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 11th minute of play forced Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's goalkeeper Jorge Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Sustrai in the 16th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jorge Loyola quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Petter Bivall was slow to take the kick. During this time Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Petter Bivall almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. In the 30th match minute, Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio da Silva to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Facundo Cadaval fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jorge Loyola quite easily take care of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Loyola having to interfere. Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ's Jorge Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 40th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jorge Loyola, 0-1. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tore-Andre Seppola in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bazar Alegria E.C.
