After taking down the ball on Circus BAF's corner Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Martínez Gullotta got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Lautaro Martínez Gullotta took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Amador Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorden Van der Hoeven got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Martínez Gullotta took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Lautaro Martínez Gullotta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Martínez Gullotta really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorden Van der Hoeven. In the 35th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Martínez Gullotta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 38th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Martínez Gullotta could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post.

Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Amador Paublo made a huge save. In the 72nd minute Lautaro Martínez Gullotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Martínez Gullotta might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Martínez Gullotta ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Circus BAF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Circus BAF made a substitution. Dawang Monfort replaced Gary Medel. In the 78th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Circus BAF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
