Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. Mats Linqvist hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Cutberto came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Mats Linqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mats Linqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 9th minute of play forced SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goalkeeper Florencio Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Linqvist in the 12th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Valeryan Bochkin in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Dave Signoretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Linqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Signoretti in the 33rd minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Linqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Linqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Gilbert Godefroid kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. 54 minutes into the game, Valeryan Bochkin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 55th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Ariel Bautista got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Linqvist came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Linqvist in the 61st minute of the match. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Florencio Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. In the 80thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Florencio Cutberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Cutberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Florencio Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florencio Cutberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
