Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Venezuela were furious when Guillermo Mariano was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! 13 minutes into the game, Tiger's Pentti Ojala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Gaizka Mendieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Thilo Heß managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Thilo Heß was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pentti Ojala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After 44 minutes, Christo Bothenhain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiger and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Christo Bothenhain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Patricio Costa had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 46 minutes into the game, Rudolf Speed was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Rudolf Speed kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Iwo Sawicki made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Pentti Ojala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Sawicki in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Iwo Sawicki made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iwo Sawicki went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute Christo Bothenhain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christo Bothenhain's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thilo Heß in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Iwo Sawicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tiger's Ingo Ustorf was substituted for Rudolf Speed. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christo Bothenhain, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tiger's zone, Roberto Ocampo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Witlatschil came out of the goal and Roberto Ocampo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Marten Weise made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 89th minute Thilo Heß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tiger had played much better football throughout.
