With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Gennadiy Blatun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Gennadiy Blatun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's 赵珂冰 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Tudor Sălcudeanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tudor Sălcudeanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timur Chichko in the 34th minute. 赵珂冰 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goalkeeper 赵珂冰, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 赵珂冰 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timur Chichko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but 赵珂冰 made a huge save. After having played for 54 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 赵珂冰. 赵珂冰 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 73 played minutes Феникс Санкт-Петербург got a freekick which was hit by Tudor Sălcudeanu. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but 赵珂冰 made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goalkeeper 赵珂冰 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 赵珂冰 firmly grabbed it by the left post. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 赵珂冰. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th minute, Aleksey Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with 赵珂冰 in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador played a much better game than Феникс Санкт-Петербург and deserved their victory. The Феникс Санкт-Петербург players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
