Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gică Boerescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iacob Nistor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Alex Team's Cornel Bodiu. But to his dismay, Cornel Bodiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Gică Boerescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Gică Boerescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornel Bodiu got free with Benito Sanz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Alex Team's Cornel Bodiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a Alex Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Cornel Bodiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Iacob Nistor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iacob Nistor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Gică Boerescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gică Boerescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Alex Team's Eugeniusz Kostrzewa got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Gică Boerescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Iacob Nistor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Gică Boerescu scored 8-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iacob Nistor didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 86 minutes into the match, Alex Team's goalkeeper Iacob Nistor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Noboa. 88 minutes into the match, Alex Team's Cornel Bodiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Cantemir in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Bodiu came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Gică Boerescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alex Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alex Team's Gică Boerescu got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Bodiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
