Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Arlo's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Juan Diego Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Juan Diego Tenorio got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Arlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Juan Diego Tenorio in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Fantasma's Falcão Montenegro. Jose Arlo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jacobo Nores 13 minutes into the match. Falcão Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Real Fantasma's Jose Arlo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Real Fantasma's Falcão Montenegro got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Real Fantasma were awarded a corner. Romeu Sá went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Gunnar Sundling at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Paraguay. 3-0. The supporters of Real Fantasma booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Diego Tenorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. Juan Diego Tenorio hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Real Fantasma's Jose Arlo. But to his dismay, Jose Arlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Jose Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54thth minute of the game Jose Arlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Jose Arlo put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. Real Fantasma's Falcão Montenegro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Diego Tenorio in the 58 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Arlo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jose Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Arlo came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Diego Tenorio to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Arlo in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. If Jose Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Arlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Real Fantasma's Silvério Medeiros was substituted for Sydney Gomes. If Jose Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Arlo in the 81st minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Juan Diego Tenorio hit a great ball. Jose Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Jose Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Arlo in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Jose Arlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. The audience was convinced that Jose Arlo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Arlo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Real Fantasma's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
