The Bolivia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Bolivia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Marcos Fuente with Noé Villa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
