Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ambrosio Urbes kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Urbes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Ambrosio Urbes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ambrosio Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Anjullan AFC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Fix came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Anjullan AFC's Samuel Navarro. When Salvador Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Salvador Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Narciso Fix didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 56th minute, Atilano Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Anjullan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Felo to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Fix having to interfere. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Salvador Gisbert hit a great ball. Salvador Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narciso Fix. That made the score 1-2 after 87 minutes of play. Narciso Fix made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Venezuela eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
