After 5 minutes, Michael Mol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sheep United and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honduras's Alexander Costa was substituted for Sebastian Villa. Michael Mol kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Han Koekkoek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes Sheep United got a freekick which was hit by Aad van Zonderen. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sheep United's goalkeeper Erik Kolman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Kolman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Kolman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Sheep United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennie Geerts to maneuver through the defense. Bennie Geerts's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bennie Geerts helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sheep United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Honduras. Edmundo Espiga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erik Kolman. 0-1. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sheep United's goalie prevented a goal. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alexander Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Kolman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 46th minute of the match Michael Mol completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Michael Mol a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 47th match minute, Sheep United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Mol to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sheep United's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Kolman came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Honduras were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aad van Zonderen made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Moises Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ger Wielaert in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Han Koekkoek kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sheep United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Han Koekkoek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sheep United. 66 minutes into the match, Honduras's Alexander Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Kolman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Kolman made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Alexander Costa sent off a good shot on target. Erik Kolman was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douwe Gentenaar in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 88th minute. Moises Tafalla was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Honduras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Erik Kolman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Erik Kolman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
