Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Ray Clemence successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lilcho Ilchov took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 86 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ray Clemence narrowly saved just below the crossbar. PHOENIX SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
