Holmkjar Hotspurs's Holger Ørnholm quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 6th minute of the game. Bent Streyder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Elmar Lexbo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elmar Lexbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Luis Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Nordlet having to interfere. Tristan Nordlet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Colombia's Santino Seco in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmar Lexbo. 36 minutes into the game, Colombia's Santino Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tristan Nordlet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 41st minute of play. In the 41st minute, Kevin Mastache made a precise shot to the right of Tristan Nordlet. Holmkjar Hotspurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Holmkjar Hotspurs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colombia were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bent Streyder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Orlando Tafalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holmkjar Hotspurs the free kick. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bent Streyder in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Bent Streyder put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bent Streyder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bent Streyder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bent Streyder's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. If Bent Streyder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kalle Molnit was substituted for Sigfrid Eildorf. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kurd Frydenholt was substituted for Franck Lydicksen. Magnus Steinwart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Tristan Nordlet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Magnus Steinwart made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Steinwart in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Magnus Steinwart struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmkjar Hotspurs. Holmkjar Hotspurs's attentive Konrad Reumert managed to snatch the ball when Luis Cazalla made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Santino Seco got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
