Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva Figueiredo having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão Gomes in the 7th minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes in the game, Jonathan Galvão fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Agüero in the 23rd minute of play. The throw-in from Ronaldo Nóbrega in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doriva Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the game, Alfredão Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jucuitiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Alfredão Gomes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Michel Agüero made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play Jucuitiba's Alfredão Gomes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 52nd match minute, Jucuitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Gomes to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Agüero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Agüero in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Jucuitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Doriva Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Michel Agüero sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Doriva Figueiredo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 played minutes Jucuitiba got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Nóbrega. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Jucuitiba's Michel Agüero. But to his dismay, Michel Agüero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Michel Agüero took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doriva Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Doriva Figueiredo threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Illescas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Doriva Figueiredo made a huge save. Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Jucuitiba from getting a goal against them. Jucuitiba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
