Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michel Agüero kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doriva Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alfredão Gomes's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredão Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredão Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doriva Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Agüero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Jucuitiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 26th minute of play. Michel Agüeros short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Jucuitiba's Luiz Guilherme Romero got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Jucuitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Doriva Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 33rd minute of the match. Doriva Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Doriva Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Michel Agüero kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ecuador's Luis Andino in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jucuitiba's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Jucuitiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Doriva Figueiredo, 0-3. In the 61st minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Doriva Figueiredo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo did a great save. Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Jucuitiba from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Jucuitiba getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Waldemar Leal hit a great ball. Doriva Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of play. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Doriva Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 84 minutes Jucuitiba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Doriva Figueiredo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 87th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 90th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Jucuitiba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
