Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Popcorn Miner started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Popcorn Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Vit Miner sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Postelnicescu having to interfere. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Postelnicescu. Gabriel Postelnicescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Postelnicescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabriel Postelnicescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 26th minute Popcorn Miner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Beat Miner advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 29th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vit Miner in the 33rd minute of play. Popcorn Miner got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Julio Vera handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Gabriel Postelnicescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The audience thought a goal was coming when Popcorn Miner got free with Julio Vera in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vit Miner in the 52nd minute of play. When CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Popcorn Miner in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beat Miner in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beat Miner in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beat Miner, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Popcorn Miner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Popcorn Miner came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Felix Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Gabriel Postelnicescu to make any attempt to save it. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Popcorn Miner came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Popcorn Miner got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Popcorn Miner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Popcorn Miner, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Ecuador supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ecuador would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
