When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caetano Messi made a kick off. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Birant Hasanoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. İZZEDDİN EL KASSAM TUGAYI's Cevdet Hızarcı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save İZZEDDİN EL KASSAM TUGAYI from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cevdet Hızarcı came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Lacasa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 94th minute. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
