Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ove Zachrisson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sven-Åke Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Albert Dahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cristian Sancho sped through Ciudad Tao FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven-Åke Markusson. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sven-Åke Markusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Åke Markusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Ciudad Tao FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Åke Markusson. The Ciudad Tao FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Åke Markusson should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ciudad Tao FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Valter Karlstedt hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ciudad Tao FC's Jonny Hansson got a free kick in the 34th minute. Sven-Åke Markusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Åke Markusson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Zachrisson. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Åke Markusson. Sven-Åke Markusson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Sven-Åke Markusson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 60 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Ciudad Tao FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Åke Markusson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Åke Markusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. With a little luck, Ciudad Tao FC's Sven-Åke Markusson got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 minutes, Robert Juhlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciudad Tao FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ciudad Tao FC throughout the match.
