Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Surovec in the 29th minute of the match. Dezider Šindelka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dezider Šindelka saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Chico Pirok got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

FC Barcelona's Andrej Karásek was substituted for Tibor Surovec. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Chico Pirok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Barcelona's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
