Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mauro Arias. The audience thought a goal was coming when Soyuncu Entero got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Soyuncu Carron in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Hegoi Arbaiza got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Soyuncu Carron sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Patricio Toribia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play. Soyuncu Entero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Soyuncu Carron fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Soyuncu Carron in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perfecto Orgaz in the 44th minute of the match. Soyuncu Carron struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol. The audience thought a goal was coming when Soyuncu Carron got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute, Soyuncu Carron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Soyuncu Carron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patricio Toribia made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mauro Arias hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Patricio Toribia didn't even have to move. In the 65th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol made a substitution. Chico Reiriz replaced Ramon Guzman. With a little luck, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Patricio Toribia got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soyuncu Carron in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Perfecto Orgaz. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Soyuncu Carron in the 77th minute of play. If Perfecto Orgaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mauro Arias was slow to take the kick. During this time POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's players had a chance to rest. After 96 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 97 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Soyuncu Carron came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
