Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jose-Manuel Alabern started the match with the kick off. Jose-Manuel Alabern could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Huly Estruch kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Candela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rubio Villafane during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rubio Villafane kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ezequiel Candela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, Gowland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubio Villafane to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Candela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Gowland's Jose-Manuel Alabern nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 35th minute, Abraham Alguacil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Jose-Manuel Alabern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germano Furtado hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Candela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jose-Manuel Alabern scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 minutes of play, Gowland's Jose-Manuel Alabern made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose-Manuel Alabern went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gowland's Alfredo Fresnos was substituted for Santi Goyanes. In the 70th minute, Alfredo Fresnos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gowland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The supporters of Gowland booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Gowland's Jose-Manuel Alabern made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Candela having to interfere. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gowland's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
