After 5 played minutes E.C Stadander City 1965 got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Turushev. Aloísio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play forced E.C Stadander City 1965's goalkeeper Aloísio Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Sebastián Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through E.C Stadander City 1965's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aloísio Perez. 余默轩 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aloísio Perez. Aloísio Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 27th match minute, E.C Stadander City 1965 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Veloso to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 30 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josué Baiano struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E.C Stadander City 1965. Aloísio Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by E.C Stadander City 1965's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gaston Turushev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jardel de Brito's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jardel de Brito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, E.C Stadander City 1965 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel de Brito to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Turushev came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 余默轩 made a kick off. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after E.C Stadander City 1965's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The supporters of Ecuador booed when E.C Stadander City 1965 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Aloísio Perez made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind E.C Stadander City 1965's goalkeeper Aloísio Perez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aloísio Perez made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 82 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. E.C Stadander City 1965's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Aloísio Perez, making the score, 0-4. Aloísio Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 88 minutes E.C Stadander City 1965's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aloísio Perez quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of E.C Stadander City 1965 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lucas Beckham came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the E.C Stadander City 1965 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Beckham couldn't finish the play. 余默轩's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
