Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Doru Lițu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Lițu in the 4th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Leonardo Toscano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Beatles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. In the 13th match minute, The Beatles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Toscano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 14th minute of play forced The Beatles's goalkeeper Takis Koutsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Beatles's goalkeeper Takis Koutsos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Arthur Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doru Lițu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doru Lițu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Takis Koutsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes in the game Ulisses Gaspar got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Brodel came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeca Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 38 in the game by Zeca Brodel from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Takis Koutsos saved The Beatles from getting behind. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Evert Österlund sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Beatles's Takis Koutsos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save The Beatles from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Takis Koutsos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 58th minute. Doru Lițu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Takis Koutsos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 67th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Lițu in the 68th minute of play. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Evert Österlund sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Beatles made a substitution. Hernani Medeiros replaced Zeca Brodel. The Beatles's Marcos Barral was substituted for Doru Lițu. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Medeiros in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 81st minute of play forced The Beatles's goalkeeper Takis Koutsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Marcos Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes, Hernani Medeiros made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Beatles fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chile had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
