Walter Giardino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Jax Williamson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Harris in the 17th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Walter Giardino put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jax Williamson. José Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Dixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Richard Mccarthy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koby Wright ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Walter Giardino made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charis Leontiou to maneuver through the defense. Richard Mccarthy was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Canada's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, José Sá successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 57 minutes into the match, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goal looked a bit too open when Koby Wright came free, but José Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Mccarthy in the 58th minute of play. Canada were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Dixon took the corner. Karl-Åke Norling lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for tHe SOnS of rAGnar! José Sá had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Jan Dixon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Edwards in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kosmas Salaminiotis to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jan Dixon was slow to take the kick. During this time Canada's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jan Dixon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Sá quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
