Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Walter Giardino took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Cassius Byrne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Alexis Alexandris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 1-0. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 11th minute of play forced tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalkeeper José Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Walter Giardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telis Ntasios in the 15th minute of play. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the USA defense, Alexis Alexandris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Snow in the 31st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Cassius Byrne notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá. José Sá was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexis Alexandris struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for tHe SOnS of rAGnar. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. José Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Alexandris in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexis Alexandris got free with Marco Day in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of USA booed when tHe SOnS of rAGnar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Papoutsakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Papoutsakis. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute of the match tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurence Snow ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Laurence Snow got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 54 minutes into the match, Telis Ntasios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Telis Ntasios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Telis Ntasios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Giardino came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laurence Snow ran over to the corner to take the kick. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 65th minute of play. José Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 66th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Telis Ntasios made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino. But to his dismay, Walter Giardino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Telis Ntasios's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 92nd minute of play forced tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalkeeper José Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with José Sá in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The tHe SOnS of rAGnar players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
