Co Ko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Co Ko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Co Ko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bai Chen Xing. Co Ko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Co Ko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Andino's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Suwon FC's Co Ko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play forced Suwon FC's goalkeeper Co Ko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bai Chen Xing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Bai Chen Xing got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 47th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Co Ko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Co Ko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 61 minute of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Co Ko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Co Ko was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 2-2. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Bai Chen Xing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Suwon FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Co Ko, making the score, 3-3. A collision led to Suwon FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. 정 해 hit a great ball. Co Ko didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
