Ágyúsok FC's attentive Tamás Sárközi managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zsolt Kuncz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Ágyúsok FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Peru's Milagros Fraga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zsolt Kuncz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zsolt Kuncz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Vitinho Faria came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsolt Kuncz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Zsolt Kuncz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Gergely Kalmár reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-2. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tamás Sárközi, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Faria in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Ágyúsok FC's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zsolt Kuncz came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Kalmár in the 56th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Faria in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Áron Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 71st minute of play forced Ágyúsok FC's goalkeeper Zsolt Kuncz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Yi Yuan in the 73rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tamás Sárközi, made in the 85th minute of the game. Rafael Gallo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 87th playminute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Faria in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play forced Ágyúsok FC's goalkeeper Zsolt Kuncz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
