The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Jago got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Dolmos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético Argentino's Denis Dolmos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 16th minute of play. Ennu Krae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Meder Fabelo in the 19 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Dolmos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Denis Dolmos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 22nd minute of the match. Atlético Argentino's Denis Dolmos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Nofre came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Ennu Krae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Dolmos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Dolmos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Santino Seco. But to his dismay, Santino Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Pastor Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Dolmos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Dolmos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Dolmos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Atlético Argentino's Pascual Ledesma was substituted for Pastor Nofre. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

In the 56th minute Josemir Lujambio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Eufemio Yabbarov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares skillfully saved the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Piarres in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Argentino's David Piarres got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Eulalio Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 99 minutes of play, Atlético Argentino's David Piarres made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atlético Argentino walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
